Printing Inks for Toys

Toys must be colourful and appealing, but the ink must also offer outstanding resistance to chemicals and mechanical strain.

Marabu inks have been developed especially for this demanding application: free of heavy metals in line with DIN EN 71, part 3, they meet manufacturer specifications and legal requirements.

Suitable Ink Systems:

MaquaPad MAP

  • Water-based, satin gloss 1-component ink
  • Nearly odourless, lowest PAH values, made without BPA/BPS
  • Compliant with health and safety standards, e.g. EN 71/3   

TampaTex TPX

  • Two-component ink suitable for a wide range of substrates
  • Successfully tested for toys, baby products and medical accessories
  • Compliant with health and safety standards, e.g. EN 71/3

TampaPlus TPL

  • Solvent-based, glossy 1- or 2-component ink
  • Good printability especially in closed cup systems
  • Universal application possibilities
